National Summit on Children's Oral Health Summit  

In November 2008, the American Academy of Pediatrics hosted the National Summit on Children's Oral Health: A New Era of Collaboration. Attended by 125 representatives from leading medical, dental and other organizations, family advocates, and federal agencies, the Summit was organized to discuss national progress in meeting the recommendations of the 2000 Oral Health in America: A Report of the Surgeon General and the National Call to Action to Promote Oral Health.
